Aeriseph as a pairing has been here for a long time and it started out with only a small group of fans but due to the release of FF7 Remake, Aeriseph has gained traction again in the fandom.Unlike the conventional ships, this is a ship that is misunderstood by many as Aerith was murdered by Sephiroth in the game. Many see this as something taboo to be shipped. So why do we ship them?From this point, we must first understand that Aerith and Sephiroth were created to be the opposite of each other. However, they also perfectly complement each other such as she is light and he is darkness. The white materia and black materia. She is life and he is death.During the early development of the game, they have gone through several changes.
